The Textbook of “Fundamental of Herbal drug Technology” is the outcome of various efforts of authors to assimilate the voluminous knowledge of traditional and modern Herbal drug Technology which has long been a requirement of the curriculum of PCI in various universities across the world. So, this book is specially designed according to the PCI curriculum for the 6th semester students for fulfil this need. At the beginning of each chapter, an outline for the better understanding of the chapter is given and at end of chapter, practice questions are given for the practice purpose of the students.
Harshita Jain is presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy, School of Pharmacy, Career Point University, Alaniya, Kota (Rajasthan), India. She is pursuing Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Lords University, Alwar. She did her Post graduation in Pharmacognosy from B. R. Nahata college of Pharmacy, Mandsaur. She has completed her graduation from S.G.S.I.T.S., Indore. She has more than 11 years of teaching and research experience in the field of pharmacy. She has published more than 12 research and review papers in national and international reputed journals. She has worked as an Editorial review member in several research journals.
Nitin Nama is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, School of Pharmacy, Career Point University, Alaniya, Kota (Rajasthan), India. He is pursuing Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Lords University, Alwar. He did his Post graduation in Pharmaceutics from Maharishi Arvind Institute of Pharmacy, Jaipur. He has completed his graduation from Apex Institute of Pharmacy, Jaipur. He has more than 05 years of teaching and research experience in the field of pharmacy. He has published 07 research papers and 10 review papers in national and international reputed journals. He has worked as an Editorial review member in several research journals.
