Dr. Alok Kumar Yadav is an accomplished veterinary scientist and academician with extensive expertise in Animal Genetics and Breeding, livestock research, and rural development. He earned his B.V.Sc. & A.H. from Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya, followed by his M.V.Sc. & A.H. from Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur. He completed his Ph.D. at the prestigious ICAR–National Dairy Research Institute (ICAR-NDRI), Karnal. Additionally, he holds postgraduate diplomas in Rural Development and Applied Statistics from IGNOU, reflecting his multidisciplinary academic foundation. During his doctoral studies, Dr. Yadav was awarded the ICAR–NDRI Institutional Fellowship and the UGC National Fellowship. He also qualified the ICAR-ASRB National Eligibility Test (NET) in Animal Genetics and Breeding. Over the years, he has received numerous national and international honors, including multiple Young Scientist Awards, Best Paper Awards, Best Presentation Awards, Dr. C. M. Singh National Award of Excellence, Best Scientist International Award, Global Eminent Scientist Award, and several other recognitions for his scientific excellence and communication skills.
