Dr. Sarita Singh is a distinguished Agricultural Scientist specializing in Agricultural Extension Education at Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya and currently serving at Krishi Vigyan Kendra. With nearly eight years of experience in the KVK system, she has played a vital role in transforming agricultural innovations into practical solutions for rural development. Her work focuses on farm women empowerment and modern extension approaches. Dr. Singh has authored seven books, published 45 research papers in reputed NAAS-rated journals, and contributed over 60 popular scientific articles and technical bulletins. She actively promotes technology transfer through radio, television, and modern media platforms. An award-winning academician and extension expert, she is also dedicated to mentoring future agricultural professionals and community development initiatives.
Dr. Geeta Singh
Dr. Geeta Singh is a distinguished Agricultural Extension Scientist presently serving at Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dindori, Madhya Pradesh. She completed her B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, M.Sc. (Ag.) in Extension Education, and Ph.D. in Extension Education and Communication from JNKVV, Jabalpur, and qualified the ASRB-NET examination in 2001. With over 23 years of experience in teaching, research, and extension, she has contributed significantly to agricultural development. Dr. Singh has published numerous research papers, books, book chapters, technical bulletins, training manuals, and popular articles. Her work primarily focuses on empowering farming communities, especially women farmers, through innovative agricultural extension and mobile advisory services for sustainable farming systems.
