Dr. Amit Kumar
Dr. Amit Kumar is a Scientist (Agronomy) at the ICAR RC for NEH Region, Sikkim Centre, Tadong, Gangtok, Sikkim. He earned his B.Sc. (Ag) from ANDUA&T, Ayodhya; M.Sc. (Ag) Agronomy from GBPUA&T, Pantnagar and Ph.D. from ICAR–IARI, New Delhi. His research focuses on natural resource management. He has published 123+ papers and actively promotes farmer-oriented technologies in Himalayan agro-ecosystems.
Dr. Mahima Begum
Dr. Mahima Begum is an Associate Professor of Agronomy at Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, with a Ph.D. and over a decade of teaching and research experience. Her expertise includes nutrient management, precision irrigation, and sustainable crop optimization. An ICAR NET scholar and prolific researcher, she contributes as a reviewer for international journals and co-edited Recent Advances in Agronomy and Soil Science, promoting climate-resilient agricultural practices.
Dr. Pranjit Sutradhar
Dr. Pranjit Sutradhar is an Assistant Professor of Agronomy at Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, with a Ph.D. in Agronomy. Trained at Cornell University and the Officers Training Academy, Chennai, he specializes in crop intensification, climate-resilient agriculture, and nutrient management. He leads research on sustainable millet systems, contributes actively to academic administration, and has numerous publications in reputed journals.
Ms. Dimpi Dutta
Ms. Dimpi Dutta is a dedicated agronomy researcher and Ph.D. scholar at Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat. A gold medalist and UGC-NET & ASRB-NET qualified, she serves as Young Professional-I. Her work focuses on sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and nitrogen management, with significant contributions through research papers, reviews, and book chapters.
Mr. Shantonu Paul
Mr. Shantonu Paul is a Farm Manager at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dibrugarh under Assam Agricultural University. He holds B.Sc. (Agri.) and M.Sc. (Agronomy) with distinction, and a PGD in Agribusiness Management. With over 15 years of experience, he has contributed extensively through research papers, book chapters, and articles in agriculture, extension, and farm management.
