Dr. Ajit Kumar Mannade is a distinguished Plant Biotechnologist specializing in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, with over 10 years of experience in teaching, research, and extension. Currently an Assistant Professor at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, he has guided multiple Ph.D. and M.Sc. scholars. His work focuses on zinc- and protein-rich rice, genome editing, and transgenics, contributing to the release of India’s first Zn-rich rice variety.
Dr. Sanjay Kumar Bhariya
Dr. Sanjay Kumar Bhariya is a renowned Plant Biotechnologist with a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and over 13 years of experience in agricultural education, research, and extension. He serves as Assistant Professor at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya. A recipient of CEEB and DBT-JRF fellowships, he has guided Ph.D. and M.Sc. scholars and specializes in rice biofortification, transcriptomics, and transgenic crop development.
Dr. Vinay Premi
Dr. Vinay Premi is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at IGKV, Raipur, with over 15 years of experience in rice bio-fortification. His research focuses on enhancing iron, zinc, protein content, and reducing glycemic index in rice. He completed his Ph.D. on QTL characterization and has contributed to ICAR-funded projects, with several peer-reviewed publications in molecular and nutritional research.
Dr. Hemant Sahu
Dr. Hemant Sahu is a Scientist in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur. With strong training in genetics and plant breeding, he is an ICAR fellowship awardee and has qualified ICAR-NET and CG-SET. Honored with the Young Scientist Award, his expertise focuses on molecular breeding, leading impactful research projects on rice biofortification.
Dr. Vikky Kumar
Dr. Vikky Kumar is a plant breeder and molecular researcher at IGKV, Raipur, specializing in crop improvement. His Ph.D. focused on genetic analysis of potato traits.
